Shouldn't The Big Show's "Knockout Punch" be an automatic disqualification considering that in the rulebooks closed-fist punches are strictly forbidden, let alone one that is a potentially deadly weapon?

I wonder what HHH's Career would be like if he wasn't banging Stephanie?

To Tapout...

A common belief is that HHH banging Steph gives him the most political power. If you look at history, him and Steph's relationship is just the icing of the cake. So, look at history.

HHH's start of political pulling was with The Kliq, consisting of Diesel, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, and himself. The Kliq was a backstage group known for getting in Vince's ear, being the big 4 politicks of that time. So, HHH already had political pull while he wasn't even banging Steph.

True there was a period where HHH was in the doghouse, but once HHH became King of The Ring of 1997, things looked up for him. Soon after, he got some power back, and that and Shawn's, led to DX, basically led to the Attitude Era, since there was that time Shawn stuffed his tights and was half naked in his interview with JR. After that, Shawn was supposed to be fined $10,000, but Vince decided to let it go, and get edgy.

To start such a revolution for WWE, you needed power, and Shawn and HHH had it.

Naturally, in such a process, there is nowhere to go but up. HHH got more political power, especially since HBK left for 4 years. In chemistry, a catalyst speeds up a reaction, makes it happen sooner. Reactants react faster and form products sooner. Steph was HHH's catalyst, nothing more. HHH would've had a very similar amount of political power without Steph, because he gained Vince's ear for years before 2002.

So to your question, HHH would likely be where is now, his career would still be filled with world titles and wins.
