SHANE McMAHON has firmly left the world of wrestling behind — and moved into cricket and golf.

Vince's son — and until last year the head of international operations for WWE — is part of a consortium who have made a multi-million pound investment into International Sports Management.

ISM are the agency who look after England cricket heroes Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison, as well as golfers Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood and Ernie Els.

Shane's partners in the investment include the founders of Setanta Sports.

The group hope McMahon's money and know-how will help them grow in the States.

Flintoff may also ask Shane's advice about one day entering the WWE. He's previously remarked how he'd love to become a wrestler once his cricket career is over.

That's about as far away from the stigma of pro wrestling as you can get, I suppose. I don't know what happened between Shane and Vince, but it's obvious he wants to distance himself from wrestling while still staying in a lucrative sports-related field.

Good for him. Maybe he'll make a name for himself and create his own McMahon legacy?
