WWE are set to broadcast a one-off LIVE episode of Smackdown on October 1, as the show changes channels in America.

Smackdown is usually taped on a Tuesday before being edited and then broadcast on Friday nights in the US and UK.

On Friday, October 1 Smackdown moves to Syfy in the States, the channel that currently shows NXT, and the WWE will make the move special by broadcasting live from Oklahoma City.

There are also expected to be a number of titles matches on the show.

The move will mean the start time in the UK is pushed back to the early hours of Saturday morning.

While Smackdown is always taped, Raw is broadcast live in the US and UK every Monday night.
