Just someone for Cena to bury, and to hype Sheamus. It's desparation from booking. Relying on ANY wrestler to go out and put Sheamus over and have people care about the tables match other than just looking at Cena. It's sad. At least it wasn't Swagger.

I kind of have a feeling that that will be the last time we see carlito in WWE. just a feeling. he started in the WWE with a program with Cena and it looks like they wanted to end him with Cena making him look like shit. I would love for Carlito to be back for good and get a good push and get more mic time but unfortunately its not going to happen....i guess he should have never said those things about triple H.

on a side note Carlito almost did something that none of the IWC has done yet i asked time and time again. carlito almost sold sheamus to me. he almost made me want to root for sheamus in the Upcoming match. so props to him for that but im still not sold, the key word was almost.

What Carlito did may or may not have it's consequences for his career. I suppose we'll have to wait and see. You can never tell what WWE is thinking anymore. It fumbles the ball with most of it's potentially epic moments and story-lines, but the segment with Carlito could have at least evolved into something of a grudge match between Cena and Carlito if Sheamus wasn't already involved in the title picture.

Having Carlito deliver the promo that he did and having Cena respond with the intensity that he did was the beginning of a great RAW moment, but we quickly saw that it turned into nothing more than another body for Cena to throw around for the good of his character. If Cena really wanted to bury Carlito he could have laughed off his comments.

Not seeing Carlito for awhile also added a bit of "freshness" because that moment could have been the opportunity for creative to refresh his character into a more serious and dangerous heel character, not the colorful apple-spitting Caribbean cool guy. WWE would do itself good to re-introduce more edgier shoot-style promos into it's programming as it gives the impression that the men really do have a personal beef, and Carlito's RAW moment really could have become something special. Imagine if Carlito was the guy who was out there saying everything that the anti-Cena fans were thinking and feeling. His fan support would be through the roof.

WWe has such a hard-on for Cena because of his fan base... and although I agree with your statements about an "edgier" raw, the fact of the matter is our "edgier" raw was the attitude era... which is long gone and probably never coming back.

WWe's programming has gone to shit as soon as they started catering to the 10 year old kids with their "PG" rating. Needless to say nothing is going to change any time soon.

That's probably half the reason why I want Sheamus to pummel Cena so bad... I want to see a Heel with Charisma prove something and get some fresh blood. WWe's been banking on the same 6 or 7 main event-ers for what? 8-9 years? and the older guys like trip/hbk/taker are even longer.

But bottom line: I agree 100% that an edgier product would keep me much more entertained.

I'd hate to admit it, but the reason I joined these boards in the first place was because the product has been so boring to me, I probably haven't watched steadily for about 6+ years. I just needed a place to check in and see who was doing what lol.

All in all there's a lot of cool people on these boards, so I'm happy just the same.

It was indeed awesome to see Carlito come out when Cena was complaining about Seamus and the ass kicking he got. But I do agree that this may be the last time we see Carlito and perhaps even Primo with the way he got knocked out by Orton two weeks ago. Those two events could actually have been the last we saw of the Colons which is sad since they are second generations wrestlers which would have been cool to see them in Legacy but ah well.
