Over at 2006, Cena teamed up with Maria to face Edge and Lita. Very outdated concept. That's an incentive not to watch South Park in my view. Actually, the whole show after the 10th season is an incentive not to watch that show. One of the few times I cherish not having TV, not having to bear advertisement and accidental channel surfing to South Park. |

I won't hear of a generalized bashing of South Park's quality for the last 3 years. Fair enough you don't care about watching the show anymore, but don't say that the show isn't good. I felt tired after Season 10, and I did watch all of Season 11 and I think all of Season 12. At first watch, it's good, but for me, sub-par to their past episodes. I felt they take any recent event, and with not a credible amount of forethought, stick it on TV as if throwing spaghetti to a wall. The example that made me think this was the one regarding the Olympics and China. It aired in October 2008, and it really emphasized the new American fear of China, which really took height around July and August. Not very long to pin an episode. That's how it felt to me. What's worse was the waiting period, and Season 11 showed that. 4-6 episodes in September-November, then wait until March, and get the same amount, and wait until Fall. It barely feels like a season, and is pretty incoherent, which is a flaw in delivering a season. I have the ground thought of just being tired, not willing to wait, and feeling they are "middle of the road," not having much ideas left, sub-par, uninspired. |

Thrash is just a Negative Nancy as of late.  I personally think south park has done nothing but gotten better with age. i actually used to not like it for a good while but the past few years have been really good and really relevant to current topics. now i do agree that they seem outdated with edge,cena,lita & maria thing though. if they are gonna make fun of wresting do it right. |

Interesting! Cheers for the response. It sounded like you tuned out after S10. I will give you that South Park has become known for parodying something topical, something I'm not a big fan of; it means that it has the most impact on air-date, if you care/know about the particular topic. (e.g. I don't care about Dead Celebrities) They do write episodes in 7 days (they usually have one "banked" i.e. script written out when they start a half season so they take a break in about week 4) and it's mostly just Matt and Trey doing it, which is why you don't get many episodes per season. They say they're knackered after 7, they couldn't possibly do more in a single stretch. It's always 7 episodes in Oct-Nov, 7 episodes March-May. Being Irish I'm used to shows not having many episodes but it is weird that an American show has so little eps per season. But i guess it's so Matt and Trey have complete control over their show. |

i am currently watching the Wrestling episode and it is amazing.. i will say this im not the biggest fan of South Park as it annoyed me and then i kinda just got into it again.. But coming from someone who isnt obessed with the show this new episode is great. I recommended it for anyone who is a SP or Wrestling fan.. |
