goku3jiraiya (11:08:08 PM): Hello loyal viewers and welcome to Prodigy on Wrestling - Episode 3, Live AIM Discussion. That means the entire show will be a Live AIM Discussion, and I am here, chatting with none other than AlecPure, one of the most popular, and most talented writers in the Be The Booker section. How are you doing today Alec?

xxalecpurexx (11:09:45 PM): I'm doing fine, just finished up dinner.. Thanx for the cheap plug for my BTB.. Remember everyone, check out the Fantasy TNA. But again thanx for the welcome

goku3jiraiya (11:10:23 PM): Anytime. So what were your initial thoughts after Friday's Enter the Dragon PPV?

xxalecpurexx (11:11:08 PM): Well i'm not big on using stuff like this,but.....OMFG

xxalecpurexx (11:13:12 PM): This ppv was one of the best, i have ever seen. It has been a long time, since i have been on the edge of my seat. There are matches every now and then, that put me on the edge of my seat, but ETD had me on the edge from start to finish..

xxalecpurexx (11:19:39 PM): Well, i'm not going to go into every match on the card.. the show started off with BxB Hulk taking on Yamato... Oh My... this match was lightning quick... many near falls.. Hulk's opening got me really behind him, which i think was what it was supposed to do, and there were so many close moments where i was yelling at the screen for him to kick out.. or for him to delivery more punishment to keep Yamato down.. Yamato got the win in the end, to open up a great show

xxalecpurexx (11:30:38 PM): Up next we had the Chikara guys.. who i have never really been a fan of, as i thought they were way to gimmickie.. But Quackenbush was in the match, so i was like this should be good, seeing as he is one of the best indie workers in the US.
But i thought hey, if they get a chance to shine with DG then there must be something good about them.. The match started out kinda slow[well to me atleast]. But once the match started going, it didn't stop.. The match went on, and it was great back and fourth action.. And as the match went on, i got more and more into Chikara.. and before the match was over, i had told myself that i would be downloading some of there shows to see the great matches.. the match ended after many pinfall attempts from both teams.. Quakenbush got the pin, i believe.. and then after the match ended Quakenbush got on the mic and said "Doesn't DragonGate and Chikara make a good combination?".. Which i will defiantly agree with him on that.. As long as Chikara can put on amazing multiman matches like that, then the more the merrier... Also after the match Quckenbush was attacked by DG star Yamato.. and some Chikara guy who i'm not familiar with.. a bunch of DG and Chikara guys came down for the save after they beat him down and they ran them out of the ring.. Im hoping this leads to a Quackenbush vs. Yamoto match at an upcoming show.

goku3jiraiya (11:33:36 PM): The BxB Hulk vs. Yamato match was a great opening match. Fast paced, great atheleticism was showcased for sure, and the big spots were epic. I was not bored during any part of this match, I was for the first time on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I was, like everyone else, chanting my ass off for Hulk, but Yamato won with a deadly, amazing finish.

goku3jiraiya (11:36:02 PM): Now onto the tag match. Definitely tag team match of the year, maybe decade. I had low expectations for this match seeing how i barely knew 2 of the guys in the match, and the rest I've never heard of before. As soon as the match started, the in-ring action had me indangering my eyes I was so close to the TV with excitement, and anticipation for who was going to win. Quakenbush hit the nail on the head in his interview when he said that CHIKARA and DG make a splendid combination. Their combination is one of the best I've ever seen, and I'm so glad it will continue to happen.

xxalecpurexx (11:42:54 PM): After the Chikara showcase, we had Dragon Kid in action.. Who i have heard nothing but rave reviews from him and i've see his other matches and they were amazing.. So we have Dragon Kid taking on Yoshino.. in another epic counter from the two.. the announcers put this match over with how DK hasn't been able to get a victory over Yoshino.. And honestly from the way they talked about it, i knew DK would be getting the win, so i wasnt as into it.. but just as i thought i would not enjoy the match, dew to knowing the outcome.. DK and Yoshino put on an action packed match, with DK doing the DragonRanna.. which in my opinion is my favorite finisher of all time... DK gets the win, in what i would call the best worst match of the night.. still an amazing match, but it was nothing compared to what these two have done before

xxalecpurexx (11:52:02 PM): Next we had a match that i would call match of the year.. The Young Bucks taking on Warriors 5.. This match from start to finish was epic.. and i know that word gets thrown around a lot, but for this match it deserves it... Towards the end of the match, there were many near pins and it just pulled me closer to the edge of the seat...I have been a fan of the Bucks for awhile, but like i have stated, i haven't seen much DG... but i had heard alot about CIMA... I was happy in the end when the Bucks got the victory over a dominate DG stable... I know many may not agree with this, but i thought the Bucks showed a lot of similarities to a pair of young Rockers...I must say though, that W5 and the Bucks have great chemistry and i would love to see a rematch between the 2 teams... They went into that match and gave there all, 110%... Can't wait to see more action from both of theses teams in future DG events, be it against each other or other teams... The DG team division, is one of the best in world, well in my opinion. This match though was my favorite match of the night

xxalecpurexx (12:12:48 AM): Next we had the main event.. between two of DG's finest Naruki Doi defeated Shingo.. I will honestly say, that i have never seen either of them in the ring, but damn did they put on one hell of a show... During the whole event they put over the ME. and it didn't disappoint.. But like i stated they taked about Shingo and Doi.. The first time they showed Doi, i got chills, and there was just something about him.. The match started and it was a great match.. The match had alot of what i was told is Puro style wrestling.. I for one am not a big fan of it, but it made theses guys look strong.. it made me think that wow they are hitting each other with there finishers and they are getting right back up.. wow they could go toe to toe with Big Show and not get mauled... Sorry for that, this match suspended my disbelief and i for one match thought wrestling was real again.. And it made me think that wow this match must be something, cause they just won't give up.. The end of the match was amazing.. so many near falls and a finisher attempt by Shingo and he almost got the win , but he only got a 2 3/4 count on Doi.... Doi kicked out of the finisher and the crowd exploded... Doi got back to his feet and him and Shingo went at it and Doi then got his finisher on him and it was over... What a great match to end a great PPV event.. I downloaded this PPV, but after watching it i went on my cable box, and ordered this event.. so i could watch it over again.. And i did it because i knew i had to pay for such a great event

goku3jiraiya (7:29:28 PM): Great review of the PPV may I add. I'll throw in my 2 cents. Dragon Kids match against Masato Yoshino was a great match as well. It had constant action, and Dragon Kid hit all of his cool moves, until he finally won with the Ultra Hurricanarana. I believe I also may have see the greatest Flying Dropkick ever from Yoshino. Then we move onto Young Bucks and Warriors 5. Like you said Alec, definitely in the running for match of the year at least. Amazing back and forth action, until the end when the Bucks got them. Hopefully the Bucks go somewhere, because they really showed great talent in their match, but I really think CIMA should have won in his debut match here.

xxalecpurexx (7:31:52 PM): Well just a quick note on the Bucks.. With them getting a win or the Warriors-5, it puts them over big time, and hopefully it puts them inline to become DG tag champions

goku3jiraiya (7:34:00 PM): I think your right 100%, with a win of that calibur, it definitely makes them Championship contenders. Now onto the main event. BOY did it deliver. From start to finish, I probably fell off the chair so much, I kept edging closer to the TV. The more into the match I got, the better it was. Big move, near fall, another big move, and another near fall until Naruki Doi won with the Muscular Bomb. That could main event any WrestleMania, even though as of late, that's an insult to DragonGate.

xxalecpurexx (7:35:36 PM): DragonGate at Mania would be amazing... I would love to see them get a shine on the biggest stage in american wrestling.

goku3jiraiya (7:35:25 PM): So as we move on to more news, I heard about Angelina Love being fired due to a visa problem. What do you think of this, and what may have happened?

xxalecpurexx (7:39:39 PM): I think its a blow to TNA. They will have to end of there biggest draws.. When the news first came out, it seemed as if she wouldn't be returning to TNA, but in light of the recent news she could be returning sooner than we think.. But all in all, i think we may see her get injured during the tag team match at No Surrender.. Or we will see a backstage video of her getting injured.. But i look for TNA, to find a replacement for her.. And when she returns, i will pop big time.

goku3jiraiya (7:42:43 PM): Yea I agree. TNA lost one of their biggest draws. Not limited to just knockouts either, she's one of the biggest draws there period. Not even that, it's not even something like she trashed a hotel, or fucked up a fan, it's just an expiring visa, which sucks because no one wants someone to leave what they love because of something so stupid. I think something at No Surrender will happen, if she can even stay that long, if not, then she'll probably turn face quickly and leave. Then maybe she'll come back, if not, Velvet or Madison will take her place.

goku3jiraiya (7:46:37 PM): So now we move onto the next story. Hulk Hogan showing interest in TNA. Now right off the bat, I'm going to flat out say I hate Hulk Hogan, and hope he suffers a horrible fate soon, so I will TRY my best to stay unbiased but I make no guarantee's. I think Hogan being on TNA will shoot their rating up GREATLY, and definitely bring them right up to where WWE is today. The one thing I don't want to see him do is wrestle. He can't wrestle. But if he does wrestle Angle, than have Angle beat him (which we all know will never happen....), and put Angle over, because Hogan won't be an active wrestler. Hogan will because he's so popular bring TNA to new levels in my opinion. Thoughts Alec?

xxalecpurexx (7:54:23 PM): Well.. Hogan in TNA is iffy.. The Impact Zone is full of marks, and maybe some of the casual fans that go see TNA will pop, but i can guarantee a Hogan sucks chant to be started.. But from the point of a casual fan.. Hogan to TNA will be huge and i mean huge ratings..  Hogan is one of those guys that is bigger than the wrestling business... People will hear that Hogan wrestles for TNA, and people will be like Hulk Hogan, i used to watch him when i was growing up and i watched him when he was the leader of the nWo... I have to see what he is up to now.. Hogan in TNA will surly be ratings.. But that might be the only good thing from him going to TNA.. If he were to come into the company and were to wrestle, i'd like to see him put over guys like Angle and Styles and maybe even Chris Sabin... Man if Angle were to beat Hogan, that would sky rocket Angle into being a Icon, and it would be the first start of his push that would make him larger than the wrestling business.
goku3jiraiya (7:58:44 PM): You couldn't be more right. Now I would definitely try to start the Hogan sucks chants, but since EVERYONE who is anyone knows who Hulk Hogan is, then TNA's rating will go through the roof. If Hogan has to wrestle, which I kinda hope he does, only if he loses to everyone, than hopefully he'll give his all, losing of course. The good thing is that Angle will be pushed into a new league as you said. Maybe it will happen, I know it will do nothing but progress TNA further.

xxalecpurexx (8:00:22 PM): I mean even if Hogan went to TNA, he would have to win a few matches to show that he still has it, and then after a winning streak, Angle decided he wants to beat him and prove that he truly is the greatest wrestler in the world.

goku3jiraiya (8:03:07 PM): Yea you're right, you can't just completely shit on him I guess. I would though... Well Alec, thanks for a second successful Prodigy on Wrestling LIVE AIM Discussion. For everyone wanting to see once of the best Be The Bookers out there, check out Alec's TNA Impact fantasy. P.S, he's really starting to give me a lot of competition.

xxalecpurexx (8:04:05 PM): Thank your for having me on the show again... And everyone, don't forget to check out EPW... The only true competition for Fantasy Impact

Well another great edition of Prodigy on Wrestling with Alec again. DGUSA was awesome but both of you covered that better than I could ever have so I won't add anything much to it other than "greatest ppv of the year" although for personal reasons I would still pick Slammiversary. Here's looking forward to another great DGUSA ppv in November (i think it is)...

Anyway Angelina/Work Visa topic. It seems her agents come out and said what's happened, why its happened etc and a lot of things are being blown out of proportion however i think once this is sorted she will return to TNA. It's interesting however what TNA will do in the mean time, do they make Angelina suspended? do they kick her out of TBP? do they turn her face? there's so many questions. so many possibilities that TNA could go with this, i just hope they dont blow whatever they are planning like they have done with Hernandez, Daniels, Joe, Kaz and a few others over the years.

Now the Hogan in TNA news. I reckon IF (a big if) Hogan does not demand much money (highly doubtful) then TNA pursue him. I would give him a six month deal with TNA paying him the same amount of money per month as Sting and Kurt Angle who are rumoured both on $500k per year. So for six months I'd give Hulk $250k why? Well i think his name alone would be enough to get iMPACT up a few points in the ratings to push on towards hopefully a 2.0, sell some more PPVs, headline some matches with Angle, Sting, Styles, Joe and a personal hope for me, Jeff Jarrett. With the history Jeff and Hogan have (inside the ring) from Bash At The Beach and back in 2003 when Jarrett took TNA to Hogan i think there is some potential for something very big. Obviously this would mean Vince Russo getting punted but I would support that if it meant a Hogan TNA run as I think the benefits of signing Hogan from a marketing point of view outweigh the financial downside of Hogan..

Damn that Gonzo Bomb is fucking sick.

Yup it's in November.

That's the good thing about Angelina's working Visa. There's so much they can do with her now, but the majority of it involves her turning face, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

HAHA, TNA could never get Hogan for six months for only 250,000. They'd have to shell out probably a million, unless Hogan actually wants to give back to the wrestling business (YEA RIGHT). Sadly that arrogant, uptight piece of shit would never do that. He comes back and wrestles when he needs money, but when he does he goes to Vince, and gets a lot. If Hogan does go to TNA, I HOPE they tell us how much they paid him, because I'm sure it's gonna be a lot. But if Hogan goes to TNA, I think their ratings will tie, if not surpass Raw, Smackdown, and or ECW and Superstars in a heartbeat.

By the way, Angle makes 650,000 a year, and Sting makes 500,000.

And yes, the Ganzo Bomb is fucking sick.

Well IF Sting really is retiring then I suppose they could give the 500k to Hogan or even Flair if he wanted it bad enough, although the stories of him apparently owing ROH some of the money they paid him up front for dates he didn't commit to makes him an uneasy target. But whatever good Hogan does for TNA, he will not beat RAW imo. Maybe SmackDown but there's no way that just signing Hogan would mean more than a 2.0 rise in the ratings.

Well, seeing how Hogan basically made the WWF, and WCW (It BURNS me inside to say that), then to me he can make TNA excel beyond a 2.0 What is Raw's average ratings anyway?

RAW usually averages around 3.5. SmackDown around 2.0. ECW around 1.2.

Hen, those were my initial thoughts as well. But when you think about it, as soon as you say Hulk in front of any fan, they pop.
