Once you, the member, meet the basic requirements for Elite status post your name here and fill out a short description about why you feel you deserve Elite status. One thing you can do for the description is locate what you feel was your best post and link to it and we, the TWF staff, will review it. This application form is beneficial to both you, the member, and us, the staff, because it allows us to quickly locate and review your application instead of searching and monitoring every single member on the board. There are almost 1,000 of you so it's a bit of a task to keep track of all of you. REQUIREMENTS At the moment there are two requirements here on TWF for our Elite Members. - You reach 300 posts - The staff approves you That's it. That's all it takes. -------------------------------------------------- The form goes as follows: Name: Date of Application: Your Join Date (located on your member page): Your (approximate) date of 300th post: Short Description of why you feel you should be an Elite Member: -------------------------------------------------- Here are a few notes for new members who are interested in signing up and joining the Elite section. -- It does not cost any money whatsoever. We are not money whores. We are social whores. We want you to be an Elite member because we value your contributions and your efforts here on TWF. -- In the Elite section we offer you things that you cannot find anywhere else on the forum. You will be given perks that regular members are not. Your discussions, the quality of your postings, your personality, and your attitude. Let me break them down for you like this. Discussions Here at TWF we are a social forum based on the art and the sport of professional wrestling. The sole purpose of this forum is for our members to DISCUSS any and all topics that interest them. We want your opinions and we want you to share your thoughts with all of us here. The grand majority of the members here at TWF are passionate about professional wrestling and we like to talk. Those are the two things that all of us have in common despite our many differences. Quality of Posts It's one thing to give a few words on a topic and it's another to actually care about a topic enough to want to talk about it. Anybody can write a few sentences like 'Yeah. That sucks. Too bad for him' that basically sum up what has already been said and really doesn't contribute anything to the discussion. It's not too hard to read a topic or start a thread of your own and write a thoughtful, organized, and proper paragraph (or two or three) about something that you want to discuss. Don't post for the sake of getting your numbers up as quickly as possible - do it because you WANT to talk about it. Personality This one is pretty self-explanatory. The staff here at TWF don't expect you to kiss our asses. We don't expect you be the nicest living person on the face of the planet. Be yourself on the forum and let your opinions be known, but don't make things personal. If you agree with something being said - kindly agree - and if you don't agree - you can debate and argue your point without getting personal or insulting. There is no-one on this board who will, or will be allowed to, disrespect you so we don't want to have you disrespect other members. Attitude Same as above. If you have a good attitude and keep things positive you will have no problems. If you act like a douchebag ou're chances grow slim.
